Confindustria Cosenza's presentation
The enterprise system contributes in a remarkable way to the determination of the wealth on the territory. It is also the bearer of values that make the community and society ,in general, grow. Confindustria Cosenza aggregates enterprises which are producers of goods and services, associating the most significant productive realities of the territory and plenty of small and very small enterprises that constitute the economical fabric of the local situation.
Thanks to the strength and authority that derive from the belonging to the Confindustria system, for over eighty years Confindustria Cosenza has safeguarded and given assistance to the associated enterprises over the political, economical, union and social institutions, guaranteeing a service supply system which is more and more marked by efficiency and timeliness, as regards to the union and welfare areas, the economical and tax ones, those concerning the environmental safeguard and security, internationalization, training. The processes and the timing of supplying assistance and representation services to the associates have the seal of approval in accordance with the law Vision 2000.
Through a series of meetings, conferences and seminars, highly topical themes are studied in depth. These meetings become the opportunity for the enterprises to interact, collaborate and face very real issues together. It pays attention to the training sector and to the promotion and diffusion of enterprise culture on the territory, with particular reference to secondary school and university students.
Every year Confindustria Cosenza carries out and publishes the conjectural and economical analysis of the region, becoming the opportunity to estimate carefully the state of the Calabrian economics, with particular attention to the employment trend, to entrepreneurial liveliness, to export and to the productive-economical trend of the different industrial sectors. The action of the Association of the Industrialists is, in fact, more and more marked by the promotion of projects aimed to the overall growth of the local situation and if, on the one hand, it works by the entrepreneurs’ side in order to ease them in their business, in the repeated evolution due to technological innovation, to international competitiveness and to the complexity of social relations, on the other hand, it tries to stimulate the birth of new remarkable worlds able to help the take-off of the weak and frail provincial economical system.
The stimulus and the support of the constitution of Consortia among enterprises (Assapori, Brutium Energy, Tescal) witness the daily commitment in order to encourage and create productive synergies among entrepreneurs of the province.
Representing the interests of those who produce and asserting the culture and the values of the enterprise, which creates wealth and job opportunities for the territory, are the foundations of our associative mission. The Association is structured in order to allow the widest participation of the entrepreneurs to the associative life. The associative offices are renewed every two years with representations by product sector. The President is the legal representative of the Association. The technical structure, guided by the Director, is formed by a team of professionals at the entrepreneurs’ disposal. Confindustria Cosenza is, therefore, a place of participation, of moving ideas: a laboratory of stimulus and suggestion of projects for the development of the territory.
